BumblesDaxis grew from a lifelong love of dogs and the experience of growing up in a family that has responsibly bred dogs for more than 25 years. Being surrounded by dogs and puppies from a young age gave us the opportunity to learn first-hand about their care, their needs and the responsibility that comes with bringing new life into the world.
Today, we are proud to continue that passion through our breeding programme, with the health, welfare and happiness of our dogs at the heart of everything we do.
Our experience didn't begin with BumblesDaxis. It began at home, learning from people with years of practical experience and developing an understanding of what responsible dog breeding really means.
From a young age, dogs and puppies were simply part of everyday family life. we were fortunate to learn through hands-on experience — seeing the work, care and commitment involved in raising healthy, well-adjusted dogs.
That background has shaped the way we approach BumblesDaxis today. We believe puppies deserve time, attention and a genuinely caring start, and that choosing the right home is just as important as raising the right puppy.
BumblesDaxis is our own way of continuing that passion. It is personal, family-focused and built around doing things carefully rather than simply producing puppies.
I hold a Level 3 qualification in Animal Care, and I continue to put health, welfare and responsible care at the centre of the programme.
Every dog is an individual, and every litter is a responsibility. Breeding decisions are made with health, temperament and suitability in mind, rather than simply producing puppies.
Our dogs are regularly vet checked, vaccinated and wormed, and we provide them with a high-quality diet and the care they need to thrive.
We want families to know where their puppy has come from, understand the parents behind their litter and feel comfortable asking questions throughout the process.
Our puppies are raised in a loving home environment, where they become familiar with everyday family life and receive plenty of attention as they grow.
Early experiences matter. Puppies receive age-appropriate handling and socialisation to help them become confident and comfortable as they develop.
We pay attention to individual personalities too, because every puppy is different and the right family match matters.
When a puppy leaves us, our relationship doesn't have to end. Puppies leave with a puppy pack and helpful care information, and we offer ongoing lifetime support because responsible breeding should include being there for families afterwards.
Our aim has never been simply to find homes for puppies. It is to find the right homes for individual puppies.
We want families to feel able to ask questions — even difficult ones. If you're considering a Dachshund and want to understand the breed, the commitment involved or whether a particular puppy may suit your circumstances, we would rather have that conversation before a decision is made.
It is incredibly rewarding to hear how our puppies settle into their new lives. Building relationships with puppy families and seeing the dogs grow into much-loved members of their homes is one of the most special parts of what we do.
BumblesDaxis is based in Tipton, West Midlands (DY4), with good motorway and rail connections for families travelling from across the region and further afield.
We are conveniently located for the M5 and M6, and Tipton railway station is approximately five minutes away.
Families have travelled much further than the West Midlands to welcome a BumblesDaxis puppy into their homes.
We've welcomed families travelling from Guernsey and Jersey to collect their puppies — a reminder of just how far people will travel when they feel they've found the right puppy and the right breeder.
On one occasion, we even had the pleasure of meeting a new puppy family at the airport ourselves. Moments like that are incredibly special and make all the time, care and effort worthwhile.
